Not quite as hot and humid as yesterday, but still no significant migrating birds.
I’m a little surprised to see no wading birds in the marshes at Wooton.
Bug hunting was unusually slow also.
- This Catbird looks a bit angry.
- This Belted Kingfisher was making a lot of noise.
- Eastern Phoebes are plentiful lately.
- Common Yellowthroats seemed to be feeding rapidly.
- White Eyed Vireos remain plentiful.
- It’s often hard to get a look at Red Eyed Vireos as they forage in the trees.
- This juvenile Indigo Bunting is in need of more feathers.
- Cocoon.
- Larva.
