The weather was nearly perfect again, but the migrants just didn’t show.
I spent quite some time searching likely spots, but to no avail. Fortunately, a few resident birds cooperated.
Insects were scarce as well.
Northern Cardinals are still abundant.
This female Red Bellied Woodpecker was very vocal.
This Osprey is still hanging out when most of buddies have moved South.
I usually see Snowy Egrets wading, not in a tree.
