Golden Crowned Kinglet at Quiet Waters

Temps were more seasonable today, with bright sunshine. I left early for Quiet Waters, and I quickly found a few birds, but not much variety. The ducks will be here soon.
I stopped at Truxtun Park briefly also, but there was very little to see.
It was far too windy to look for bugs.

There are far fewer Red Winged Blackbirds than last month..

  1. Nice! I’ve not kept up with the birding lately, nor many of the posted pics. It’s great to see you are still at it. We have our house on the market, we’ve bought the 5th wheel and puller. Now we just get the house sold, quit our jobs and will be free!
