Birds have been scarce lately. I was at Quiet Waters and Thomas Point yesterday without seeing much, and Sands Road, Thomas Point today. Most ducks haven’t arrived yet, and the force hasn’t been with me. I did a find a few birds, and here they are.
A few Ring Billed Gulls were feeding at the point.
This Carolina Wren seemed to be enjoying the weather.
A few Mallards were dabbling in the cove.
Buffleheads are the dominant duck at the moment.
This Dark Eyed Junco was the only bird I photographed at Sands Road.
This is only my second Hermit Thrush of the season.
Those are utterly amazing.
