We finally got a decent run of migrants. I got 5 warblers today, which is a lot for me. A very pleasant morning indeed.
I didn’t leave much time for bugs, and I haven’t finished processing the photos yet.
American Redstarts tend to move quickly, so I feel lucky when I get a decent photo.
Common Yellowthroats are getting scarcer.
Magnolia Warblers are passing through daily.
Many Flycatchers were active today.
Red Eyed Vireos are also harder to find.
The Tennessee Warbler is a migrant travelling from near Canada to South or Central America.
Chestnut Sided Warblers travel a route similar to the Tennessee Warbler.
We only see these handsome Black Throated Green Warblers during migration.
Today’s bugs.
These are some great photo’s! What beautiful shots!
Thank you, Noah.
