Well, the warblers started arriving today, for sure. I’ll be spending a lot of time at Governor Bridge until it’s over. Aside from warblers, I found a nice snake and a few other birds, including more hummingbirds.
There wasn’t much in the way of bugs.
This Scarlet Tanager was a nice find.
My hummingbird obsession continues.
This Northern Parula is probably a migrant, but they do breed here.
Red Eyed Vireos also breed here.
Blue Gray Gnatcatchers will be migrating soon.
This is probably a juvenile Chestnut Sided Warbler.
I’ve seen this Ribbon Snake before, but this is the first picture I’ve been able to get.
Hummingbird Clearwings were feeding right alongside the hummingbirds.
