The perfect weather ended today, with cloudy, gloomy skies that challenged the photographer. Only a few warblers appeared, and they were most elusive.
The bug tour treated me somewhat better.
This Common Yellowthroat was foraging quite close to me.

Once again, I’m amazed. The leaf is incredible! Modern art, but ancient, actually. Your pictures of the insects are so beautiful. I especially love the black and red one, the one with the black and white legs, and the spider and her shadow. How cool. Have you ever seen the youtube video on the double rainbow, ‘what does it mean’?? It’s been parodied, and it is pretty funny – the guy might have been high, (ya think?) but his amazement of the rainbow, though a bit over the top, is how I feel about the things I see, hear and feel in nature….and your photos reveal those views as well. Thanks.
