That&#8217;s not the early October weather I&#8217;m used to having. It was foggy and cloudy as well, but the weatherman promised it would be dry, so I headed off to Terrapin Nature Area.<br \/>\nI can&#8217;t recall a more barren birding day. There was no shortage of overflying Blue Jays, and the Robins were plentiful, but even the usual suspects were limited. After wasting two hours with virtually nothing to even look at, I decamped to Greenbury Point with not much better results.<\/p>\n<p><a
