Long Tailed Ducks at Jonas Green Park.

Between snow, bitter cold and a painting project, I’ve been a bit homebound lately.

I’m mostly hanging out locally, though I made a couple of unproductive trips to Sandy Point.  Thomas Point has plenty of birds, but some species just haven’t arrived yet.

  1. So wonderful to see all the birds around Annapolis now that I no longer live there. Thank you, Hugh — beautiful photos!

    • We love it! Enjoying all the winter sports — Nordic skating, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and hiking (with microspikes) on snow-packed trails. Planning to hike up Mt Pierce on Thursday. Still lots of painting to do inside, but it feels more and more like home.
