Wood Duck at Quiet Waters

Off to Possum Point once again to experiment with sunrise. It was a little better than yesterday, but not spectacular.

Birds were fewer, but I found an Osprey searching fore nesting material in the big field.

I spotted a pair of Wood Ducks at Quiet Waters, and they were more cooperative than usual.

This Osprey is nesting across from the boat ramp at the marina.

Horned Grebe 80

Horned Grebes seem to be more plentiful this year.

Double Crested Cormorant 97

Double Crested Cormorants are still hanging around in small flocks.

 

Common Loon 106

This may be the same Common Loon who was here yesterday.
