Fox Sparrow at Terrapin Nature Park

After my recent run of poor luck, I decided to try the Eastern Shore today. It was a bit cloudy and cold, but warm enough to do without gloves, which are inconvenient when using a camera.
I walked the entire beach at Terrapin without seeing a whole lot, but a few small birds posed for me.

Dark Eyed Junco

Several Dark Eyed Juncos were foraging in the grass.

White Throated Sparrow

White Throated Sparrows will be with us until Spring.

  1. Great pics! The 1st Fox Sparrow pic looks like his left eye is messed up, poor thing. They are beautiful birds.
