It was cloudy again, with the promise of clearing skies, and that’s what we got.
There was reasonable activity today, but still no large number of migrants. I had to do some searching to find the birds I did see.
I spent some time examining a goldenrod field, which is a good source for bugs. A Tree Frog showed, as well.

This Tree Frog was sitting on a small leaf.

I found a small flock of House Finches.

This Ruby Throated Hummingbird popped up right in front of me.

Not a great image, but a very nice Magnolia Warbler.

I had to do some hunting to find this Common Yellowthroat.

Goldfinches change dramatically in the Fall.
