I decided to take a chance on Sands Road this morning, and it didn’t work well. It’s somewhat difficult going, but the habitat is excellent, and birds should be present. I found only a few, then went to Wooton, where the situation was similar.
I did find a couple of bugs, but it was a very slow day.

Flycatchers are active everywhere.

I’m seeing Magnolia Warblers nearly every day.

Common Yellowthroats are nearly common these days.
